David Quince

CEO

David is the founder and sole owner of Newbury Mobility and has worked in the mobility industry for over 25 years, as both a director and a sole trader. He spends most of his working hours in developing sales, marketing, logistics and keeping up with current mobility products. David is the driving force behind the domestic side of the business.

David is a hands-on kind of person and enjoys tinkering around in the workshop while coming up with ideas and solutions to make the workshop smarter and a more user-friendly place to work.

David’s pastimes have included piloting small aircrafts, deep sea diving, paragliding and mountain biking. For now, his playtime has taken a back seat whilst he focuses on work, work work.

Avril Quince

Finance and Operations Manager

Avril has worked in start-ups and business development in both Northern and Southern Europe and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in a multitude of skill sets and businesses sectors.

Before leaving the UK to develop an eco-tourism project in the mountains of Southern Spain for 12 years, Avril’s last corporate position was as a finance training consultant for SAP. Avril joined her husband David at Newbury Mobility and Berkshire Stairlifts in 2018 as Finance and Operations Manager, to develop both the domestic and commercial arm of the business.

Avril has swapped her business suits and 3-inch stilettos for jeans and cross trainers, so she can spend her down time training her border collies Jaya and Osita in obedience and agility.

Jade Sims

Commercial Planning & Business Development Executive

Jade joined the business in 2020 to drive Berkshire Stairlifts, which is the commercial arm of our existing business Newbury Mobility. Her background is predominantly in the Learning & Development sector, although she spent some time travelling the world with a well-known airline as First Class Cabin Crew.

We initially crossed paths when Jade was working on a recruitment contract and she quickly became our allocated account manager. Jade’s natural enthusiasm, energy, business acumen and interest in our industry has resulted in us bringing her onboard to drive an exciting project forward and champion change effectively.

In Jade’s spare time she enjoys horse riding, Sunday roasts and long country walks with her partner.

John Cox

Technical Support

With a 40-year track record working within the motor trade specialising in Citroens, John has more than enough experience to handle any mechanical problem, on most mobility products.

Now semi-retired working only a few days a week, John spends most of his leisure time living the life sailing his beautiful boat and cooking homemade meals.

Jaymi Dooley

Head of Customer Service

Jaymi heads up our Customer Service Team and is always on hand with a warm smile. Her a genuine desire to help, a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate nature, she is at the core of our quality service.

Jaymi thrives on a challenge, she is motivated by achieving results and finding the best solutions to all of life’s problems. Jaymi’s job keeps her busy at work but her home life is even busier.

Sharing her downtime with 3 boys, means she is always kept on her toes. Jaymi, her partner, her brother and her 9 year old son, are all mad about outdoor activities, mainly cycling in all of its disciplines but peppered with a little bit of Triathlon. A balance of healthy competition and joint ambition, makes them a great team.

James Bambridge

Field Engineer

James joined Newbury Mobility as a Field Engineer in August 2019, and has proven to be an extremely reliable, flexible, and hardworking member of the team.

During the pandemic lockdown, James has changed his work schedule several times and without hesitation, to ensure we can provide a continuous quality service and speedy response time to our customers.

James is very communicative with the customers and has a naturally calm personality, which receives regular positive feedback. James spends much of his time off watching films and keeping up to date with current affairs.

Marion Hunt

Bookkeeping and HR

Marion joined the team in July 2019 looking after the bookkeeping and HR for Newbury Mobility.

Marion’s attention to detail, work ethic and dedication to achieving high results in all tasks, makes her our hidden treasure that we all rely on. Marion has a quiet, gentle personality peppered with a sometimes naughty sense of humour.

Her hobbies include renovating an old lodge house together with her husband, supporting her daughter and young granddaughter along with bonding with her rescue dog Bella.
